Both Western Union from Manuel San Pedro and sent from Spanish Belt via Austin to San Francisco. 1) June 8, 1876. Sent to JP Moor at 320 Sansome St. Rm 7. "Have struck a large body of exceedingly rich ore consolidate Barcelona. Drill six feet in Ruby Ore South Barcelona. Manuel San Pedro, Supt." 2) June 23, 1876. Sent to JB Cooper, 426 California, Room 1. "Take the ranch for me. Alfonzano does down. M. San Pedro." Both have folds and some separation. The Spanish Belt Mining District was in Nye County.
