Hauser became the 7th governor of Montana and served from1885 to 1887. Signed by president W.C. Gillette and secretary J. Sanders. Not cancelled. Black border and print, underground mining vignette. Folds, very fine condition. 7 x 10.25" The Nellie Grant was located on Providence Hill. Burchard (1883) reports that the company has purchased a hoisting engine formerly used on the Bonanza Chief and that they have made $4,200 from sale of ore to the Alta Montana Co. Ore is averaging about 60 ounces silver per ton. 2) Flint Creek Mining Company. Butte, M.T. Unissued. c.1890s.
