Lot of two V&T covers. Both postmarks are very weak. 1) cc for the "Virginia and Truckee Railroad Company". Bottom says "R. R. B." which stands for Rail Road Business. Not a Nevada cancel. 2) Reno & Va City, Tr. 2, RPO. Corner cover for the "Arcade Hotel, Dolph Shane, prop." Very colorful advertisement in green and red fill up most of the cover. It is for the 1919 Mardi Gras in Reno. Extensive history of Dolph Shane including how he paid 'honest' men to vote for Francis Newlands for United States Representative. Cover color has run due to some water damage.
