Ever heard of hydraulic mining and wondered if it was environmentally friendly? Just take a look at these two photographs. The barren countryside says it all. Both show a hydraulic hose being used and a raceway for the water to go down. One has three miners and the other shows a pipeline going over the raceway. This one has written in pen, "Jehoshaphat Claim, Dutch Flat." The Jehoshaphat Claim was between Dutch Flat Canon and Squire's Canon. The other also lists the claim, but it is hard to read, "Deep (?)" Both have great contrast. Edges of borders have condition issues. Photographs are overall very nice. 10 x 8"/ Photo 7.5 x 5.5".
