One hundred and fifty different stock certificates from U.S. companies, either issued post 1950 or unissued. About 1/3 are unissued, however there are quite a few specimens. A number of well known companies are included such as W.T. Grant, Baxter Laboratories, LTV (2), The Toro Company, Liggett & Myers, Burlington Resources, and Celanese Corporation, 4 stocks and one specimen. The most interesting certificate is an unissued Teledyne certificate with Henry Singleton's facsimile signature as President. Teledyne is one of the most famous conglomerates from the 1960's and was a fantastic stock for many years. Warren Buffett was an admirer of Henry Singleton and his business strategies. Singleton never split Teledyne stock and for many years it was the highest priced stock on the New York Stock Exchange. Sound familiar? Unissued and has small punch cancels. Lot also has a #1 certificate from De Luxe Publishing and Buffing Corp. (MI). Lots of material here. Many more to see. Please inspect lot.
