The company owned the U.S. Tunnel in Clear Creek and Gilpin Counties. The tunnel began at Hukill Gulch, 1/2 mile from Idaho Springs and ran through Bellevue Mountain through the best of the Russell district and the very heart of Quartz Hill to the mines of Gunnell and Eureka. The tunnel ran 3 1/4 miles and intersected many gold bearing veins. The company also had a millsite adjoining the town of Idaho Springs.
