Spectacular! Great item to pair with the pictorial billheads known for this Carson City stage office. This letter, dateline Carson, July 1st, 1881, is sent by a stage agent at Carson who requests that the agent at Mound House deliver barley to B. Reymas teams that are traveling on the Mason Valley road. Beautiful vignette of U.S. Stage Company stagecoach. 8 x 10.5" Folds, stains/soiling. The U.S. Stage Company was headquartered in Carson (City), Nevada. Its stagecoaches ran south and east, from Carson through Virginia City, Gold Hill, Genoa, Minden, Mound House, Sweetwater and Aurora, Nevada. It also crossed the state line of California, passing through Bodie, Mammoth, Bishop, Independence and Lone Pine.
