Century old instruments, gemerally made in Hawaii. 1. 21" Hawaiian Mahogonay Co. made of "10 yr old Koa". Round original label still present. :Echo-Uke" imndicaes a strip of metal was placed inside for siound enhancement. This piece has the HAwaii sticker at the to of the fret board. damaged, chip in bottom, crack rear and another on front panel 2. Lyon & Healey, Chicago, Washburn stamped on the rear of the neck. Info stamped inside, a few scratches, not bad. 3. Uke with no label, made in the style of the Hawaiian Mahogony company for the special instruments made for the Royal Hawaiian Hotel, but this uke has a different head. The inlays are the same.. four hand carved string keys, generally very fine. 4. Dark brown "Ukelele of Hawaii made by Leonard Nunes, Kohler & Chase, San Francisco, label inside. Type 1, no decal. the construction of this piece is different from the others with a two piece wrap-around side plates and a third piece at the bottom. a few cracks and seperations. This is a nice group of 1920s ukeleles.
