This is a very unique, early miners' candlestick likely invented on the Comstock Lode between 1860 and 1865. This is a basic candlestick with only a handle, thimble, and spike (no hook) and small overall size. It has a round handle (1.33 inches in diameter) and is separated at the handle neck so one end of the handle attaches to the thimble and the other end has a couple bends on its way to the spike. It's a thicker metal that stays constant throughout the length of the stick. 7 inches long. State: City: Date:c. 1860-1865 ID#45354
