Lot of 3 different frank ("free") passes. 1912, 1913, 1914. All issued to WW Fulmer, General Purchasing Agent for Wells Fargo & Co. The United States Express Company was founded in 1854 in New York as one of the major express shipping firms that competed with Adams, American, and Wells Fargo. It provided freight, parcel, and financial express services across much of the eastern and midwestern United States, becoming a vital link for commerce during the mid-19th century. After struggling against competition and the rise of parcel post, the company ceased operations in 1914, marking the end of one of the early national express networks.
