This pocket pistol is a 6 shot .32 cal. pin-fire revolver with a 3 1/4 in. barrel. It is believed to be a Lefaucheux Belgian/French made revolver dating from post civil war 1860-1870's. The front sight and ejector rod are missing. The right side barrel is marked with an "M" under a star and on the left side of the frame is an "F" under a crown for proof marks. The finish is a patinated brown where the metal fit is excellent at the loading gate and the grips are of walnut. There are also 8 kill marks on the right grip. There is no trigger guard on the gun because it has a folding trigger. This is a double action gun but is in need of mechanical work as the cylinder stop does not work. This gun is an antique and no attempt has been made to fire this gun to confirm it's mechanical integrity. Nor should this gun be fired without the examination by a qualified gunsmith. Any attempt to fire an antique gun is at the risk of the owner and not consistent with the value of the firearm. City: State: Date: HWAC# 51143
