# 358 for 2 shares to William Feast. Signed by secretary William Feast and president R. B. Sanchez. Dateline Aurora, Monon County, Cal. on August 24, 1863. Esmeralda Mining District. Incorporated August 20, 1861. Few mines were incorporated in the Nevada Territory before 1862. Not cancelled. Two allegorical vignettes. Nice pleasing blue borders and fancy scrip. Agnew & Deffebach printer. Vertical and horizontal folds, very small rip bottom left. light staining. Very nice overall. In 1864 new owners took over and robbed the company blind! One escaped to Mazatlan and the other was captured and spent five years in the State Prison. Sanchez was the first mayor of Aurora. William Feast invested heavily in a number Aurora mines.
