No. 109, issued in 1889 to Herman Silver, treasurer of the California Southern & California Central Railways. Signed by W.W. Riter as superintendent. Vignette of Garfield Beach Resort, built by Union Pacific (which took over this rail in 1881). Printed by Hosford & Sons, New York. Horizontal crease along bottom, tiny tear on top edge, some soiling. Blank reverse. Despite its name, the railroad never made it to Nevada.
