Lot of eight. All addressed to George Holloday. 1) Tonopah-Extension Mining Company letterhead. Address is San Francisco. Major tear in upper left. Dispute over salaries. 2) Handwritten payroll (William Gould, two teams, and water). For July 1902. 3) Small Lothrop & Davis billhead. Tonopah.4) Ed Wheeler billhead. For two picks and handles. Mining supplies! 5) July account statement for use of a team. Paid to J. G. Ford. 6-8) Long letter datelined July 29, 1902, Butler, Nevada. Written by Holloday. Three pages full of confusing over his pay and concern that the company has not met its obligation at the meeting he attended in San Francisco. (Basically he thought he would get $75 plus expenses and the company says it is $75 per month period.) Also he had to lay the man off who was working as he has no funds to pay him! These were all pinned together.
