The "Sayre & Son" stamped Varney was manufactured and produced by the L.A. Sayre Company. According to Wilson and Bobrink, Nathan Varney's son, Charles manufactured some candlesticks through the New Jersey based company and sold under the name of "Varney's Colorado Pattern." The stamp is featured on the top face of the spike but unlike other Varney's the stamp reads "L.A. Sayre & Son. " This stick is 11.75" inches-long and constructed from one-piece steel. Wilson-Bobrink #52. State:New Jersey City:Newark Date: ID#46563
