1) # 91 for 500 shares to M. J. Gernert. Signed by Richard H. Nagle and president C. A. Wilt. Allegorical vignette. Dateline Bellevue, Ohio on January 28, 1908. Anyway, the Bellevue didn't seem to get any attention in Nevada or Ohio papers. Mine is mentioned in papers briefly and only in 1908. No border, discoloration, or pin holes issues. Located in the Seven Troughs Mining District. 2) #45 for 1,000 shares to Pelletier on November 28, 1906. Signed by vice president W. A. Starr. Underground mining scene lit by miner’s candles as a vignette. Incorporated in November of 1906. Nicks and one very small rip at fold edges. Light discoloration of top border. Overall fine. W. A. Starr is the son of Lt. Augustus Starr of Fort Halleck near Elko, Nevada. When he mustered out, he remained and was the first permanent resident of the area and Starr Valley was named for him. The 1910 censes lists Warren Starr as a famer at Vernon, Nevada. A page of notes on both mines, Vernon and W. A. Starr.
