About 70 covers. Mostly 1880-1910, but several early pieces. 80+% have corner advertising. Businesses include cattle, wine, boiler maker, doctors, roller mills, stoves, trotting horses, real estate, farm machinery, importers, saw mills, druggists, sheep. Includes pictorial corner covers: buildings, sheep, roosters, horses and a fisherman (Golden City). Railroads: St. Joseph Union Railroad pictorial, Missouri Pacific Railway, Kansas Pacific, St. Louis & Burrton, St. L. & Monett. Two manuscript postmarks: 1877 Peculiar and S. W. City (Perhaps South West City?). Two covers with contents: Osceola Real Estate and Ridge View Poultry of Festus. Postmarks are Flat Creek blue, octagons, double circle. Locations are almost all smaller towns: Jackson, Brookfield, Jericho Springs, La Belle, Liberty, Lone Elm, Marthasville, Milan, Palmyra, etc.
