We have never seen this directory before! "Monthly Commercial Record and Business Directory of San Francisco." March 1867. Volume 1, Number 1, by Robert Voigt, Publisher, 534 Commercial Street, Below Montgomery. Printed by D. Bruce. 43 pages. Vignette on cover of A&PRR locomotive. According to the back cover, the Commercial Record was a tri-weekly publication for the "use of business men." Businesses are listed by occupation starting on page 17. Includes listings for railroads, steamships, and hacks & cabs. Curiously, the only mining company listed is New York Milling & Mining Company. This is perhaps the same company as the New York Silver Mining Co. which operated in Austin, Nevada. Softcover with some creases and toning. Binding tight. 7.75" x 4.5"
