Number 182 issued to Kleinhaus for 7,500 shares. Signed by secretary AD Bell and vice president CC Boak. Cada Castolas Boak moved to Tonopah with the excitement of striking it rich in 1904. In 1905 (date the Manhattan-Breyfogle was incorporated) he hired a prospector to investigate the Manhattan region. That prospector found several deposits including one which would become the famous Consolidated mine. Boak would organize the Manhattan Consolidated and other mines including the Manhattan-Breyfogle. He would become a ten time Assemblyman from Nye County, Tonopah postmaster, and organizer of the Tonopah Chamber of Commerce. The word 'Breyfogle' has to be reference to the 'Lost Breyfogle Mine' south of Tonopah. [The Mineralogical Record, Biographical Archive online] RARE pictorial vignette of a mule team traversing the desert. Stamped across in orange "Mines at Manhattan." Some staining on edges that do not affect the stock. Date: 1908 Location: Manhattan, Nevada HWAC # 54511
