Lot of two bonds from the Cripple Creek District. 1) Cert. #A1819 issued for five shares. Signed by Wm. E. Johnson, president and by R.A. Reed, secretary. 6 coupons attached. Printer: American BNCo., New York. Written in English and in French, with 2 French Revenue stamps printed on the face. 2) Cert. #D7112 for ten shares and signed only by W.N. Duane, asst. secretary. 23 of 24 coupons attached. Printer: American BNCo., New York. The company owned the Victor, Little Joe, and Panther gold mines on Bull Hill. The main shaft was 1000 feet deep with 14 levels. The stock was held principally by a French syndicate that listed it on the French stock exchange. Fine to VF.
