Lot of 2. 1) 1/4 x 3 1/2 x 1 1/2". 2.44 ounces. 2) 3/4 x 3 1/2 x 3/4". 1.44 ounces. Contains silver, gold, and massive sulfides. The Victorine Mine is located in Kingston Canyon. Kingston offered a level area for building mills and houses so a town site was platted in 1864. It had major periods of production in the 1860’s, 1880’s, and 1900’s. There are extensive remains at Kingston with the mill ruins alone making this a worthwhile trip. Kingston is about 25 miles southeast of Austin (by road).
