Painted tin sign "To Dump Area" This is believed to be the original sign from the Virginia City Dump where more than $2 million dollars in bottles have been dug. Pierce Powell hung this sign over the restroom door in the Old V & T Railroad Depot Building for 30+ years. Poor condition sign but a "Must Have" for bottle diggers/collectors. Bullet holes from both sides, and many birdshot or pellet dents, with substantial rust where bullets hit. Approximately 1.5' x 2'.
