Collection of several key billheads and one stereoview. 1) The stereoview is by Continent Stereoscope Co. of New York, entitles "05 C Street, Virginia City, Nevada". Prominently shown at right is the huge Wells, Fargo building, the Brooklyn Hotel and Restaurant. A tall barber pole is at left. c1880s. some foxing in sky. 2) Billheads include: Thomas Taylor whiskey merchants (their embossed bottles are worth north of $10,000 each) issued to H.M. Yerington (president of the V&T RR); A.M. Cole (1874, major druggist also with an array of different embossed bottles); John Gunther (saddle and harness maker, 1867- rare); J.C. Hampton (groceries, wines and liquors, issued to timber magnate D. L. Bliss, 1885); and a Savage mine receipt.
