Lot of 15. Great variety! Checks: Carson and Tahoe Lumber and Fluming Co., RN-G, 1878, signed by D.L. Bliss; Savage Mining Co., RN-G, 1879, signed by Gillette as supt.; Ophir Mining Co., RN-X, 1900, signed by Ross as supt.; two Comstock Pumping Association, 1908, signed by Hall as supt.; and four Dayton Cons. Mines Co. paychecks, 1939. Two small handwritten receipts for the Woodworth Mill, both 1874. An 1878 loan document for Breed & Crosby, merchants in Virginia City. Small 1887 receipt for F.C. Lord, Agent for Giant Powder Co., for powder sold to Savage Mining Co. Unused illustrated treasurer's draft for the Young America Engine Co. No. 2, c. 1870s. Finally, an 1864 (quite possibly territorial) billhead for A.P. Sanborn (Eastman & Co. crossed out), Lumber Dealer, for lumber sold to the Savage Mining Co. (Prag Collection)
