Rare Territorial Virginia Daily Union (1862-1867) Billhead. Underprint on the billhead says Church & Co. In February of 1862 John H Church, SA Glessner and JL Laird purchased the Carson City Silver Age. It was the paper that began printing in Carson City when the Territorial Enterprise moved to Virginia City in December of 1860. Church & Company moved the Silver Age plant to Virginia City and on November 4, 1862 began printing the Virginia Daily Union. This is a bill for printing the Territorial School Law in Pamphlet form.
