Two old banknotes, including Virginia Traders Bank Of The City Of Richmond $5 rare banknote, dated July 2, 1860. Note is signed by bank president, Hector Davis. Davis was a slave auctioneer, and early in 1860 he and 13 other men, including several other slave dealers, chartered the Traders Bank of Richmond, perhaps to assist with financing their trading.
