Signed by JC Bollinger as president and A.P. King, secretary. Not cancelled. Very attractive design with black border and print, fancy logo and birds-eye view of mining camp in the hills. Printed by JJ Evans, SF. Folds with minor separation, toning. 5.25 x 10" The Volunteer Mine was formerly known as the Indian Queen. In 1888, they were driving an adit 200 ft. to connect with a shaft 60 ft. deep. The vein is two to four feet wide. Located near the junction of Black Bear Creek and Salmon on Methodist Creek.
