Letter signed by renowned Virginia City attorney W.A. Clark, son of Copper King William Clark (who also served as a US Senator). Typewritten letter addressed to Mr. P. H. "Harry" Gohn of Pony, MT dated Feb. 22, 1906 regarding a property title deed. Rare. At this time, Clark's father was a US Senator. In addition to being a lawyer and serving on boards for his father's mining interests, WA Clark Jr. collected antiquarian and fine press books as a serious hobby. His library of rare books and manuscripts, the William Andrews Clark Memorial Library, was donated to the University of California, Los Angeles upon his death in 1934. He also founded the Los Angeles Philharmonic and helped to fund the construction of the Hollywood Bowl.
