Lot of (2) War-time posters. First is a headshot photo on a red background of Admiral Yamamoto, the wording above stating "I am looking forward to dictating peace to the United States in the White House at Washington_ Admiral Yamamoto." The bottom reads "What do YOU say, AMERICA?" Bottom of sheet reads OWI-P-4. Measures 14" x 20". Second poster is an "Urgent Notice" type, issued to advise Americans not to disclose any potentially damaging information to Japan. It lists multiple issues that are damaging, and lists items not to be discussed. Signed by Major General Clayton Bissell, Rear Admiral Hewlett Thebaud, and J. Edgar Hoover. This is a vivid red poster with bold black lettering. It was a mailed piece, addressee and War Depart. listed on outer leaf fold. Measures 17" x 25". Historic posters, in very good to excellent condition. [
