Complete uniform grouping of an Army Engineer Officer dated June 27, 1944 complete with Eisenhower style jacket, pants, overseas cap and overcoat. The uniform has ranks (desirable straight-pin style) 2nd Lieutenant ranks, officer US and Engineer collar insignia, X (10t)h Corps unit patch which took part in the Philippines campaign of 1944–45, beginning with the invasion of Leyte with the aiding the Filipino soldiers under the Philippine Commonwealth Army and Philippine Constabulary military units. For its involvement, the X Corps received the Philippine Presidential Unit Citation. The ribbons on the uniform are for the Purple Heart, Pacific Campaign, and American Defense medals.
