Signed by the auditor. 5 x 8" Seal is mostly detached (cancelled). The 1881 Appendix to Journals of Senate and Assembly lists the Washington Guard as Company E of the Nevada Infantry. It is also listed as one of the five military companies in Virginia City by De Quille in the History of the Big Bonanza.
