1) 1865 agreement between The Washington Silver Mining Co. and ______. The other party and exact date was left blank. The agreement is setting up a $10,000 loan. There is a 5 cent Internal Revenue Certificate stamp attached. Filed by Edwin More, counselor at 37 Wall St., N.Y. 2) First Mortgage Bond. $500. No. 543, issued to L.G. Bingham on June 1st, 1867. Blue 50 cent Conveyance Revenue stamp and 5 cent Internal Revenue Inl. Exchange stamp w/ cancel. Ten bond coupons attached. Signed by Richard Amerman as president and A.J. Bingham as secretary. Vignette of a mining facility. Measures 16" x 13 1/2". Fold lines, bent corner, light toning on reverse. Excellent condition. The Washington Silver Mining Company is described by Browne (1868) as having an excellent yield (pg. 405) lists quarterly yields for Sept, Dec, 1866 and March, June 1867.
