There is an assay receipt from the Assay Office of J.R. Reedy of Central City, Col. dated May 14, 1891. It shows 14 oz. of gold, and 124 oz. of silver for a full value of $404.00 from a mine in Arizona signed by the assay owner J.R. Reedy, assayer. A Certificate of Assay for Golden Star Mines Co. dated 1909 showing gold oz. per ton at .550 and retrieving .002 from tailings. Signed by E.M.C. assayer. A receipt from the Selby Smelting & Lead Co. dated 1891 for J.C. & E. Coleman of Grass Valley for smelting of gold and silver for about $10,196.00 rough right edge. A blank Assay-Certificate from Walter Mesch of Sheridan, Wyoming. A single page of advertisement for Assayer Leopold Kuh of San Francisco and Virginia City N.T. dater unknown. A complete hand written letter from the Assay office of Chemical Laboratory of E.E. Ford of Phoenix, Arizona dated 1896 to a C. D. Clark of Los Angeles, Ca. with a beautiful ghost vignette of a miner. in Very good condition. Please see photos for details.
