1870 w/o coupons and 1868 with 16 coupons, small hole, edge wear and small tears. Please inspect. Chartered as the Baltimore, Carroll and Frederick Rail Road Company in 1852, it became the Western Maryland Rail Road Company the next year. Largely a freight line, it extended through Western Maryland, terminating at the C & O Canal at Williamsport in 1873. Operated until 1909 when it became the Western Maryland RailRoad Co., and eventually merged into CSX in 1989
