Storage Acorn Basket, sour berry sticks, stand up stick basket, open twine. White root (sedge root) is horizontal twining, split red bud. 11" x approx. 8"diam. rim. Attributed by ND. The Wigwam Restaurant in Fernley, NV was a long time gathering place for members of the Paiute Tribe hosted by their friends Mary and Moe Royels and featured a Great Basin Native Americana museum which is presented in this auction. This is from the historic Wigwam Collection.
