Lot of nine. earliest Number is 35 and latest is 52. Overall in good condition. Curls at upper right. Not do to water damage though. The Western Pipe & Brick Company, formed in Nov. 1891 to take advantage of the rich clay deposits in Golden, Colorado. The company had claims on the north side of Clear Creek and manufactured fire bricks, sewer bricks, and paving bricks with a capacity of 40,000 bricks per day. According to Clay Record Vol. 1 (1892), "all the most approved methods and the finest machinery have been introduced, and with an inexhaustible supply of material there is no limit to the possibilities of the concern." Signed by John C. Hummel (president) and John C. Hodges, Jr. (secretary). 10 coupons still attached to each. 16.5" x 11" with coupons. Folds and bent/rolled corners.
