Rare 1923 photographic portrait of White Man Runs Him, a Crow scout who served in the Seventh Cavalry under General Custer in his 1876 campaign against the Sioux and Northern Cheyenne. He was present at, but did not fight in, the Battle of Little Bighorn. In the photo, White Man Runs Him wears regalia including a war bonnet, animal pelts, and a number of necklaces. The photo is in extremely fine condition. Very high quality, excellent focus and contrast, original print. [
