Copper Canon District, Calaveras Co., Cal. (printed at bottom center). Inc. Sept. 10th, 1863. No. 35, issued for three shares to Mrs. J. Campbell on Oct. 1st, 1863 in San Francisco. Signed by president Jackson and secretary M. G. Elmore. Not cancelled. Black border and print. Two nice mining vignettes: underground scene by Loomis (left) and surface entrance (top center). Printed by Agnew & Deffebach, SF. One 20 and one 5 cent adhesive revenue stamp, both tied cancel. Folds, a few creases in corners. Very nice. Not in Filer or Holabird indexes.
