William Forrest Martin's "Noah" is an original woodcut in a private collection and this is Print Number 2 of 2. Double matted and professionally framed in complimenting style and colors, this is a piece worthy of public display or exhibit in even the most exclusive galleries. 18" x 17.5". Dated 1989 and numbered.
In this piece Noah is slumped over, eyes closed, resigned to his chore but worn down from shouldering the heavy burden ordained. Several creatures are draped on his back and surrounding him on all sides, and he even has two bats hanging from his fingers. A perfect illustration of feeling that God sometimes asks more of us than we believe we can bare. (Sweetwater Trust)
