One of the many symbols of the American west was that of the cowboy and his gun riding along the trails of mountains. For many the name "Winchester" congers up images of when the west was won. The lot is a must have for any fan of the Winchester Repeating Arms Co. This lot contains 5 items from a wide range in Winchester's history. 1) Temporary stock #13 issued to Ellen M. Clark on March 13, 1929 for 50 shares. 2)also a stock, but for 8 shares issued to Eddy & Co on January 15, 1931. 3) Billhead dated September 7, 1876 to a fellow rifle co. The order was for 800 bullets. 4) Letter, dated August 24, 1891 to a J.H. Camron. The letter is in regards to Mr. Cameron not insuring his items brought from Winchester when being mailed overseas. 5) Retail price list of rifles and shotguns from 1952.City: New HavenCounty: State: CTDate: 1876-1952
