This is a collection and a history of wine making in the USA. About twenty pieces in all. Most notably is "The Story of a Winery" about Paul Masson Vineyards with photographs by Ansel Adams. A most interesting cache of three "Prescriptions" issued by the Treasury Department U.S. Internal Revenue Dept for prescriptions written in 1922 (during prohibition) for "six wineglasses after meals, Spiritus Fourmenti" complete with permit numbers; truly rare collectible and conversation pieces. Other ephemora dates to the 1800's. A must have for any oenophile.
