From the Ott Heizer mining papers, possibly given from Wingfield to Heizer. "Dinner given to Goldfield Mining Exchange when Mohawk reached $15 '(per share). Dated Nov. 7, 1906, to Geo. Wingfield from the Palm Grill for $1293.50. This must have been one helluva celebration. While the label indicates the Mohawk reached $15, it also coincides with Wingfield's underwriting of Goldfield Consolidated, which was formerly formed only a month later. A look at this receipt shows how happy Wingfield was. "music $35. tips for same, $10.""tips to waiters $36" Banquet dinner $400, 9 cases wine $648, 7 boxes of .25 cent cigars, 100 cocktails, 100 cordials, etc. This is simply an incredible item.
