They called themselves "a thoroughly standardized motor car." "Luxurious tandem seats--big enough for two adults and two children, comfortably seated. It is the ideal family car." A typical 1914 Woods Mobilette was equipped with a four-cylinder, 12-horsepower, water-cooled engine. The transmission was a sliding gear type with two speeds forward and a reverse.
