Six August 1874 notes to pay the following. They were paid for working on flumes and working on sluices. Some were payment from the Woodworth Mill and some were payment from the Woodworth Sluice Company. The Woodworth Mill was on the Carson River. The Woodworth mill is fairly common. Finding documents fromt eh Woodworth Sluice Company is far more rare. The company is on record in 1876 for the production of gold and silver - mostly from tailings.[United States Congressional Set, Volume 1738]. Payment is for "two days labor on sluices," "eleven days labor on flume," and "retain $14.50 for using the boarding house." All are signed by W. H. Armstrong.
