Lot of 13: Eleven items related to WW II. Highlight of collection is a well-preserved burgundy w/American Eagle seal album of B&W photos of soldiers, war scenes, and scenes from the home front. Essentially a photo log with handwritten notes following a soldier from Fort Benjamin Harrison/Indiana in 1941 to Camp Phillips, Kansas in 1944. Last written log states: Left Camp Brady, Mich 1944, went to Camp ___ (unreadable), transferred March 1944 to Camp Phillips, Kansas. Hq. Co., 1st Bn, 313th Infantry. Left for England April 1944. Became part of 3rd Army under Gen. Patton. Rounding out this unique collection is a small war rations booklet still containing red tokens and green ration stamps, a signed & framed B&W photo portrait of soldier Willie Brown in full military uniform, a B&W photo of young recruits getting vaccinated, and three hard bound books on World War II and related militariana.
