Hexagonal porcelain dish made by Richard Ginori. Front has blue and gold lettering, along with logo: 349th Infantry / Liberty and Rights / Kraut Killers. 5.5 x 5" Back is stamped Richard Ginori, NC. Light wear. The 349th Infantry was an infantry regiment of the United States Army's 88th Infantry Division. They participated in both World War I and II, though it wasn't until WWII that they got the nickname, the "Kraut Killers." They were stationed in Italy and participated in the Rome-Arno Campaign, North Apennines Campaign, and Po Valley Campaign.
