Lot of 13 stereoviews by photographer J.J. Reilly (and partners). Condition is mostly good with light to medium contrast. 1) Four cards from Stockton office, c.1870-75: 417--The Three Brothers; 466--Mirror Lake and its Reflections; 533--South Dome and Star King; and 457--Yosemite Falls. 2) Seven cards that list only Reilly and Yosemite Valley, Cal. as location so likely also when he was working in Stockton, c.1870-75: 415--North Dome; different North Dome; El Capitan; Three Brothers; 452--Cathedral Rocks; 439--Cathedral Spires; and 437--Nevada Falls. 3) One card from Marysville Office, c.1880s: No. 279--Three Brothers. 4) One card from when M.M. Hazeltine took over, c. late 1880s: Up the Merced River, Yosemite Valley. According to Mautz, John James Reilly came to Stockton in 1870 and photographed Yosemite 1870-1875. He even became a friend of John Muir. In 1875, he relocated to San Francisco and worked with M.M. Hazeltine, E. D. Ormsby, and John Pitcher Spooner.
