Belt buckle with Zuni sun face by Myra Tucson (1935-), who began work in the 1940s and is mentioned in most all the books. This buckle is inlaid with turquoise, jet, mother of pearl, and spiny oyster, set in silver with twisted wire. 2" x 1.75". This is a fine representation of her inlay work.

Myra Tucson represented Zuni artists in her era; she participated in the exhibit "Southwest Indian Arts II" held at the California Palace of the Legion of Honor, San Francisco in 1955. She is one of the most important Zuni artists.
