This book published by Raphael Tuck & Sons is a collection of Her Majesty the Queen's doll house as a benefit funds raiser. The book is generally in very good condition and all postcards are intact. This is the red cover edition of 1924. The gem of this lot is the Queen Mary's Doll's House coin bank. It is a coin bank shaped like the Queen's Doll House and is only 3.5 in. long. But what a gem; it comes complete with a lock and key tethered to the bottom and when you open it up; you witll find a hidden trap door on the inside to keep our coins from slipping out the top slot. Never will you see craftsmanship like this in a children's or adult toy. You won't find that kind of craftsmanship in the US, Japan, or China; leave it to the Brits! There is an extensive doll collection in postcards from the USA as well.
