Number 102 in Carl Wheat's map of the California Gold Region. The data appears to be 1848 data here. 15.125" x 20.875" excellent condition, a very early map with shaded relief of the Sierra Nevada which includes Pyramid Lake and Tahoe, shown at the time as quote Mountain Lake. The gold regions are particularly interesting with notations such as quote gold found on all these streams" this is an excellent map. California
